The Challenge:

This indy card game has brought blazing fast fun to fans everywhere but inevitably, the dull style of the original cards always comes up.

Dutch Blitz is guaranteed to bring stress-filled fun to every table it’s played on, but between rounds fans always asked for something more. This case study looks to match the great game mechanics to the quality design of the cards.

The Result:

  1. New hero images for the four main cards. Each drawn using Procreate on iPad.

  2. New custom typography logo, hand drawn in Procreate.

  3. New card deck case packaging design.
